About

gRAWnola was created in 2006 by Holistic Chef Ken Immer, and first introduced to his Personal Chef clients as a cereal that could be an in-between-meals snack, or a breakfast item. Quickly becoming wildly popular, his clients began to share gRAWnola with their friends and family, and a loyal following began. Now gRAWnola is available both as a cereal and a snack bar for anyone on the go. Sprouted nuts and seeds, NO processed sugar or flour! Dried fruits and flavors, all-natural and delicious. The sprouting process unlocks the true nutritional potential of the nuts, pumpkin seeds, and buckwheat. Dehydrating gRAWnola at low temperatures ensures that enzymes remain active, and volatile oils are not destroyed, resulting in a snack that delivers great taste, and the nutritional value of WHOLE, RAW FOODS

I really like the taste and texture of the gRAWnola Bar. I was in Whole Foods Market in Greenville,SC where we live and the sales associate noticed I was reading the ingredients. He took one out of the display box, opened it and broke me off a piece to try. It tasted amazingly like my grandmother’s Christmas Fruit Cake. I have been diagnosed with a colon condition called Colitis. I now am not allowed to eat dairy, processed, or sugar products. This makes me feel good that I can still find products that are very healthy and taste great!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We made gRAWnola with you in mind! :)

What is the average shelf life of gRAWnola?

Hi, are your products certified kosher? Given the purity of the ingredients and the process, it should be simple to do. My family and I would definitely be customers, but we are part of the observant Jewish community in Charleston and only eat kosher food. Please let me know, and if not, if you are interested in checking out the certification process, let me know and I’ll help.

Thanks! Keep up the great work…

It usually does not stay around very long… so it’s hard to say!! haha

In all seriousness, about 9 months. But if you refrigerate or freeze it, it will last forever, and it does well refrigerated. It actually gets a little crispier and many people prefer it that way. There is a little sticker on each bar that tells you either the born on date for gRAWnola (the number of the day of the year), or the newest ones which are in production now have a ‘best by’ date.

As always, we are 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so if there is ever a freshness issue, please let us know!

Does your grawnola have:

casein
soy
gluten?

My grandson cannot have any of the above.

No casein, no gluten, no ‘nothin!

You are good to go. We are an all-natural, vegan product!

hi i just purchased the gRAWnola, and it has a sticker on the back that reads
329-09, what does this mean.

Can you still purchase a bag of grawnola bars? I do not see them on your website.
Thank you.

Hi Donna,

We will be bringing the ‘pound bag’ back to the website soon!

It is a serial ‘born on date’ for your bar. November 25th 2009. Our bars are fresh for up to 9 months. Our new packaging has a ‘best by’ date that is easier to read. Thanks for buying our bar!

I met someone from Gawnola last Saturday at Earth Fare in Charlotte; he was so sweet and charming that I just had to purchase some of your product and I gobbled it all up before the end of the weekend!! Yummmmmy I love it I will be back to get more for sure!!

Thanks for making such a concsious product! I love it. Growing up in India, my mom used to always feed me soaked almonds every morning. I was so happy to find your highly evolved product. Keep up the great work guys! WE are definitely spreading the word

I was at the Greenville, SC Earth Fare a few months back and there was a chef there who made a totally yummy gRAWnola quinoa salad. Can I get the recipe for that somewhere?

You can check here for some recipes from Chef Ken. By simply adding some gRAWnola to the quinoa salad recipe here, you could achieve similar results!
